Robin Joy Riggsbee creates one of a kind pieces, using a variety of materials and a variety of mediums. Specializing in black and white, the creative process begins with her pencil drawings, which are a combination of micro-prints and character graphics, done without ever using an eraser. The original artwork is then printed on silk in her studio and brought to life through the juxtaposition of richly colored, hand-painted, custom-dyed fabrics, vintage trim, vintage glass, 14K gold and semi-precious stones. Her expressive graphics are further translated to an infinite array of products including note cards, t-shirts, scarves, dishware, wall coverings, fine art prints, couture clothing and accessories.

ReplyDeleteThe Butter cream Bands are Fabulous!! You guys were awesome at the young designer's market! Great to see you there. There were a lot of headbands there this weekend, but you guys were unique and the most well attended booth! The head bands are gorgeous! and Riddhika's jewelry was beautiful!! you guys need to post picture of those and your fab headbands! Looking forward to more cool things from the butter cream gang!
ReplyDeleteSomeone needs to correct Sok.......those manning the booth were FABULOUS. You all were having so much fun selling some beautiful stuff. It was great meeting you all and seeing the butter cream gang in action; hopefully, I will be in NYC again for a repeat performance. Hugz - Tom
