Sun Protection for Your Face

I have been a fan of DDF skincare products for the past few years. The line contains a comprehensive selection of preventative and restorative skincare products. It’s a no nonsense skincare line that works! I have been using DDF dew for the past year and love it! Read my post! Although, DDF Dew is a fabulous daytime cream, that gives me healthy skin and a dewey glow, it works better for my lifestyle in New York, where I spend most of my time indoors and am rarely exposed to the sun. I needed something that would provide more serious sun protection for my trip to Brazil. Beach here I come!!!

I am a serious sun screen user. I pile the stuff on several times a day when I am at the beach. Wearing sunscreen is key if you want to maintain your young healthy skin for a long time! DDF has a fantastic PROTECT line to protect your skin from damaging sun rays. I recently purchased the DDF Moisturizing Photo-Age Protection™ - UV Moisturizer SPF 30. This stuff is great!

I don’t know if it’s Brazil or the cream, or a combination of both… but my skin looks great! I just got back to my sisters apartment (it’s about 10:30PM in Brazil) and my skin looks so fresh and bright. The cream is very thick and moisturizing. The only problem I have with the moisturizer / sunscreen is that you have to rub it into your skin for about 15 seconds until it is fully absorbed. I complained about this to the DDF specialist at Sephora and he told me that it is thicker because of the higher SPF.

So anyways, this cream is excellent if you are walking around the cobbled streets of Parati, sipping cocktails at outdoor cafes in Rio, or even while walking around Santana Row in good old San Jo. Ha ha!

Another Tip: I am paranoid about sun damage. So when I go to the beach this Thursday I am going to apply and even higher SPF spray over the the DDF Moisturizing Photo-Age Protection™ - UV Moisturizer SPF 30. When you are at the beach you are exposed to crazy sun rays, and even more sun rays when you are swimming in the water. The more coverage the better!
